Mo,.Re:.Greenspan-Some Internet Firms Likely To Succeed,Would Justify Higher Stock Prices

I guess if the Number 1 valuation type guy (of the irrational exuberance fame) is not worried, maybe it's because he understands the inter-relations of long term rates, productivity and investing capital to best maximize returns? He's pretty savvy! <g>

More than we can say for some of the bears who occasionally populate the Dell thread! <vbg>

good trading,

Lee

Mohan, I have a conspiracy theory on this amazing stance from Mr. Greenspan...

1. Clinton is under fire because of his genital problems
2. He is being tried by the Senate, which is split on party lines
3. His biggest defense is public opinion, much of which is base on the financial health of the USA
4. Therefore, a market correction could hurt Clinton's defense
5. Since Clinton has let Greenspan do his job without interference, Mr. Greenspan is paying him back by advocating irrational exuberance

Maybe I should submit this scenario to the X-files <vbg>
