Equinox To Supply OEM Products To IBM SUNRISE, Fla., Jan. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Equinox Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: EQNX) today announced that it has entered into an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) agreement with the IBM Corporation (NYSE: IBM) to provide its SuperSerial product technology to the Options by IBM (OBI) Division of the IBM Personal Systems Group. The new IBM SuperSerial adapter products will provide from 8 to 128 server-based serial ports per PCI bus slot. Driver software for popular operating systems is included along with server clustering support for Microsoft Windows NT Enterprise Edition and Co-Standby Server by Vinca for Windows NT.
