Not a day trading question, but there's a lot of smart people on this thread, so I was hoping I could get some feedback on this:

Is there any way to "lock in" unvested company stock options at the current market price? I'm very happy with the current stock price and my options don't vest til April. Can I sell a call (?) option against those unvested shares? Or what about shorting the stock with the exact number of shares that I will be able to sell come April. Ideas anyone? Thanks!
