I'm not saying that it was all Tokyo, and I should have been more clear in that, but I do think a lot of those retail buyers are from his camp - that's MHO, similar to yours on why a large block trade occurs. Tokyo does have quite a following - just go to his thread and see the volume of posts.

Yes, he does have quite a following.

Tokyo tops the list of SI's "Most PeopleMarked" -- with a count of 1106, more than 200 ahead of the second runner..
Hot People - Message 6227723

He also tops the list of "SI Bookies"
SI Bookies - Message 6335855
The reach of these bookies is significantly extended by cross posting between their threads.

His SI thread is likely high on the "Most Bookmarked Thread" list  --- but, sorry, I lost that link. Can someone please provide it?

He has paid subscribers to his Societe Anonym

According to the Wall Street Journal, in an article profiling Tokyo Mex:

According to an early mission statement, Societe Anonym was created to provide group buying power for "blitzkrieg, quick in and quick out" stock trading. "We only pick stocks that are sensitive to volume and momentum. It is easy to trigger the momentum," this document says.
------------------------

I've been involved before with small stocks caught in momentum plays. Learned the hard way what can happen to a good stock that gets the "fallen angel" reputation, after repeated "disappointments" cause by advertised premature expectations.

Ever since, I like to be as much aware as possible about what may be going on.
