Cosmo, well said. BUt it is more than just privacy of Bill Clinton that is at risk. By "criminalizing" his private behavior so as to convict him of an alleged crime, they are destablizing government, making it easier to bring impeachment just because you hate the man and the polciies, and should they remove, they will have actually perfomed a coup d'tat.
The next time around, who is to say congress can't begin overturning elections willy nilly or trying to. we end up like france with a new government every two years? or a paralyzed government after the first year of a new term.

The real issue with the President is not his privacy and not about sex!!! Our great President was trying to protect his ass in the Paula Jones case and he laid out a plan to obstruct justice. When he was caught, his only choice was to lie about the whole matter.

If the President gets out of being impeached, the legal precedent that would be set is frighten. It will allow future Presidents to lie under oath and to obstruct justice. Once a legal precedent is set, it is very hard to change it.

Just my thoughts. Now back to AOL.
