Ho HO HO is right.

Take a second and think about that. Trading wasn't even in vogue then. All people did was invest. Now, you've got people, like you and me, that can do what professional traders do. We have the same tools and capabilities, and we don't have to call our brokers and pay high prices for commissions (unless we want to!!). There is tons of money around.

I believe it's different now. The world is much more global that in the 20, or 30's or even 70's. We trade with our enemies, and buy their products. We care if China devalues.

I don't think there is a crash coming. Period. We may get a pullback, but it's healthy. I don't see 5000 or 6000 on the DOW. Gold might go to $325, and oil might go back to $20/barrel, however I don't define those prices to presage a crash.

I think a "conservatively bullish" stance is appropriate. I am not short (got any short candidates, I am all ears...), but do have some CC's in place. I have no puts at this time.
