Can someone verify earnings annoucement time? Is it 1:00 today or after bell....If 1:00, isn't this a departure from when LSI regulary annouces after bell? Comments?

I don't do spreads, but I sold Feb 25 puts as a way of playing a good earnings report. I am hoping they will expire worthless, but if not I will be an even more enthusiastic LSI shareholder!!

"Would analysts flip flop if earnings surprised on the downside?"

Unfortunately, yes. But that's what analysts do (they raise future expectations after the stock has already moved up and lower expectations after moves down). I've owned this stock on and off for a long time and can tell you that it's very difficult to predict movement in the stock. By the way, earnings in the past have had a low correlation with subsequent short-term stock price movement. That is the basis for my comment that only an upside surprise would help the stock whereas neutral and negative earnings news could bring us back down in to the teens within a month. I'm still long but skeptically optimistic.
