Robert, that makes good sense - the price will increase when the offer expires. Some are just worried that enough fools will tender enough shares to allow the take over. That's a lot like letting people have your dollars for 25 cents!

ARP is going no where!
They got another month of drilling and then they have no more dough.
Gold is going down in price so who wants this mine today.
No one other than ABX and they know it. This auction has 1 bidder.
Maybe they may offer more, but yer dreamin if you think its in the double digits.
My guess is that the offer will expire, they will finish drilling the holes and when they run out of money, they will refinance at some number. Less than todays price if the future results are so-so, at today's price if they are great and maybe at 6$ if they are fabulous. But then ask yourself, who would finance something if the result is already known? What would they do with the money? Go drill in brazil? who is interested in that, not me. The story is done and there is one bidder and they are not willing to pay full fare because they don't have to!
