Jim, why would NXTL consider dumping $8 billion in infrastructure to CDMA when CDMA doesn't have direct connect? You're assuming that iDEN won't keep up with technology changes and/or that scientific breakthroughs will increase iDEN/TDMA capacity beyond its current levels.

Please elucidate on why anyone would spend megabuck$ and then switch technologies as I'd like to hear a reasoned explanation why that would even be considered in the near term. 5-10 years from now? Maybe but I'll bet that ALL the current technologies will be obsolete in 2010 so who knows what the next incarnation of wireless technology will look like.
