3COM to strike $55 either one week before Feb. options expire or within two weeks after expiry date.

The momentum certainly seems to be building up for that leg up to the $50 - $60 range.

The stock is a buy on many analyst radar screens. $80 + change was the high just 24 months ago and achieving $60 is a no-brainer for a company with very promising products and large market share in the niche market they controll.

I strongly believe we will see strong numbers come next earnings report given that EBAY, CPQ, INTC, AOL, DELL, MSPG have been reporting strong numbers recently.
Most of these users use U.S robotics modems to dial out... unless thay are using cable which I doubt has picked up steam.

Also, spoke to several people over the weekend who tell me they can not live without their palmtops. Windows CE to be introduced on the palmtop soon making it likely that demand will improve futher.
