i edit all the time... simple solution just copy and paste whatever you are reply to into your post if it is something that you want in place in a permanent record for instance..someone called me a punta today and I copied it and put it in my post...because I figured once I called him on it he would take it out or I could have waited 15 minutes of course you have the problem of the other person claiming you are making up what you put in your post..had that happen to me once..but other people saw the post as well.. having something saying the post was edited doesnt do much because everyone knows there is that potential
