Cute, David, but I've already thought long and hard about this and said that if it were revealed Reagan had an affair with an intern in White House then lied about it to keep Nancy and the White House astrologers and everyone else from finding out about it I would just snicker at his hypocrisy. If the Democrats tried to impeach him on that I would have not supported it. I would have loved to see Reagan go down for Iran-Contra, the S&L crisis, or any of the other financial and political scandals of the 1980s. But not because of a sex scandal. I said the same thing about Clarence Thomas. Don't talk about the creep's sex life--talk about his politics. If I were lusting for Reagan's removal just out of some pure hate for him--because I didn't like his face and his politics, as you seem to imply I should--I ought to have been ashamed of my own cravenness, my own willingness to place my my visceral hatred of the president above constitutional standards.
