Excerpt from IBM MQSeries family announcements Jan. 1999:
From IBM web site:
"MQSeries Integrator Version 1.0
formerly MQIntegrator, now has IBM terms and conditions, and provides three new products: HP-UX and DB2, Sun Solaris and DB2, and Windows NT and Sybase. "

From "Spotlight on MQSeries" by NASG
"MQSeries Integrator Version 1
MQSeries Integrator is the wholly IBM-branded version of MQIntegrator, which was jointly marketed by IBM and NEON. Customers will not only receive full IBM support with MQSeries Integrator but they now have an opportunity to buy an end-to-end solution from one vendor."

They are now branding MQSeries Integrator (formerly NEON MQIntegrator) entirely as an IBM product including in-house technical support. I am wondering if there has been any restructuring (commisions, license fees, etc.) of their original agreement. This is all very interesting.

Anyone interested in MQSeries and messaging software vendors (HIE and all of their competitors) should check out messageq.com and specifically the "Spotlight on MQSeries" paper from NASG. This paper sheds a little light on the future of the technology and where they are heading with MQSeries. The MessageQ.COM is a good central source for industry information and comments and quotes from other vendors.

Starduster - Symbols gotta have 4 letters on the Naz. Won't become HIE until the move to the NYSE when we're a blue chip. :-))

...Mezz - "Anything can happen."

edit - I'm not serious, of course, or not.
