RE: CMGi holding onto YHOO shares

David Wetherell has more than proved to me that he posesses the ability to play this great internet poker game so by being a shareholder, i am comfortably leaving the decision to him of when and how to sell YHOO shares - i base this on the following:

1. CMGi chooses their startups very carefully to ensure that they have a workable, perhaps a viral business model and that they are syngeric with the rest of the CMGi stable - it would be preferable that they take their time undertaking this - my understanding is that they have plenty of cash right now from their recent venture#3 fund inflows

2. not all of their companies will be ipo'd! - in fact many of those companies will be sold before they ever get brought public (eg. reel.com to HLYW, sage to AMZN) and the customers for these companies will be many of the net, software and media giants of today therefore strengthening CMGi's ties, however insignificant with these companies is paramount

3. CMGi knows firsthand how the net game is really playing out (better than me for sure!) and may perhaps sell YHOO off a little at a time in order to maintain a solid record of realized investment gains quarter over quarter and/or to raise needed cash - just like when they sold portions of AMZN and LCOS off - IMO they are best equipped to know when to sell off YHOO or if YHOO is a leader/alliance worth holding

4. david wetherell has said that he would like to evolve CMGi into an operational company in the future so believing that this company is focused 100% on internet startup investments is to be misinformed - when the internet explosion has died down, they plan on still being around

best luck to all, m
