rdww, I expressed these same thoughts to the company when I spoke with them the other day and was told that they have a couple projects that are much more advanced, one of which is open pittable, that could be put into production much more quickly and cheaply if management decided to take that route. How they compare economically I don't know. I know they have a property, part of which is JV'd with Intrepid, that showed some very high silver and zinc grades. Apex actually has a lot of exploration work going on but they don't talk about it. I find it kind of amusing that they don't say much about their exploration because they don't want to be perceived as a "typical junior exploration company" indulging in promotion and that sort of thing, and yet they never pass up an opportunity to mention George Soros' 20% interest in the company. I guess there is more fundamental value in name dropping than drilling. In any case I think that if the Platosa lives up to its potential, it won't be on the shelf very long.
