Joe.. I've always been a contributor from my jewish orthodox background, but not as much as I'm capable of now. If any of you have never tried, you must the feeling is great. If you don't like charities by mail just visit your local hospice, hospital or nursing home or child abuse center or shelter. Unfortunately there are enough of them around. We have a nursery near my home for children who are abandoned because of physical and mental defects, and another nursery for kids whose moms who are rehabilitating after drug abuse and getting job training. We just gave 1,100 to 3 women for clothes so they could go on job interviews. We alsohave a local chapter for Habitat for humanity and a while back Jimmy Carter visited us. He's one great guy (Mr. Clinton please read this post and you may learn something), he was actually painting and helping the builders right here in Boca.
