Thanks Vaughn for the update: Here for those interested, after having been criticized publicly for not releasing free research, Crown Jewel Report Vol 1. Feature article Namibian Minerals Alluvial producers This is an area which is little talked about which does merit some attention. My research efforts have started to concentrate on some of the more successful alluvial producers. Historically the Orange River off the coast of Western Africa has presented some interesting production. Most alluvial production requires a minimum of .28Carats production per cubic meter of dredged material. Namdeb a JV with DeBeers Mining and the government has been successful in operating this type of mining operation currently operating 8 vessels and producing 1.4mil carats per annum. Namibian Minerals is operating 1 vessel with a second coming on line in late 99 or early 2000. NAMIBIAN MINERALS T.NMR Shrs.outs. 37.8milCurrent price 1.60CLT buy 5.00C risk rating 3 high end gem quality producer ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ GENERAL REVIEW: The last quarter reported on Dec 2 states that the company has increased production 41% for the quarter ending Nov 30,.1998. total production is at 100,000 carats and net profit was 1.2mil, YTD is 2.2mil in line with expectations: The company is currently constructing the Nam SSol 11 mining system to be completed in the year 2000. Annual production of 300,000 carats should be achieved. It has also qualified for the final bidding round for the management and deferred equity in Alexkor Ltd., a diamond mine owned by the S.African government. Historically this productive area has produced 7.5million carats., with current production of about 150,000 carats per year. Two events could propel the stock price higher. This company has been on target with their numbers, and I fully expect it will become fully valued when either of the events approach reality. Only 3% of their outstanding claim block has been adequately sampled, so the company is well supported with viable future potential. The Nam SSol was developed by Namibian as a proprietary method for alluvial diamond extraction and has performed beyond original specifications. The vehicle excavates seabed sediments with a powerful pump and transports the sediments to a surface mining ship. Management owns 28% of Namco., the ticker symbol or NMCOF on the Nasdaq., or T.NMR. The recent additon to the board of directors., Toyko Sewale being a former Premier of the Gauteng Province in S. Africa bring a good understanding of political and stakeholder issues. An ANNUAL REPORT WILL BE AVAILABLE AFTER DEC 31, having changed their fiscal reporting period. Nam SSol 11 should add another 185,000 carats to the production, with the upside of 150,000 carats should the Alexkor Ltd become a reality. Diamond Sales increased to 6.02Mil this quarter, previous quarter was 4.8mil. The steady market demand of Namcos high gem quality ensures continued success. I personally believe this company will return to its all time highes of 4.12US. IMO a very good reward with little downside risk. Of notable significance Namibian Minerals is now the leading independent marine miner of diamonds. 95% of the diamonds mined are high gem quality. Namibian Minerals spokes person, Megan Willaims recent address summarized the pertinent Data. Namibian Minerals claims cover 6600 sq.KM off the coast of S.Africa and Namibia. Two concessions exist in Namibian Waters-at Luderitiz Bay and near Hottentots Bay. Prime diamond concesssions after reviewing the Geologic Survey of Namibia. The second vessel should be operational in the later part of 99. Shareholders in the company are28% management, 9% Abbey Life from the U.K. & a number of institutional shareholders including Rabo Bank, Genbel, Sanlam, Van Eck, Scudder, Strong Management, Battery March, and Alliance Capital. Further according to the August 8 release in "Glittering Diamonds", the company is applying for JSE listing as well in S.Africa. Thus far this company has kept its promise, and I believe it is well on its way to delivering its promise of becoming a premier S.African Diamond Producer. Unlike so many mining explorers in the weak market, Nambian has not reduced option prices., most outstanding options are priced in the 4.50C range and above. The combination of Namsol 1 & Namsol 11 would propel Namco above the tier 1 status over 300,000 carats/yr. The addition of Alexkor would propel the company towards the 500,000 carat mark of high quality gem stones. Earning potential and stock price appreciation could move the issue above its all times highs. End of Content. Call: Jan 10 price 1.60C Current price $3.00C Crown Jewel Report, Sincerely George J.
