Jeff....I don't get what the fuss is about. The phones looks pretty nice to me. It's got a hefty ear piece that really surrounds ones ear which really helps in noisy restaurants and on the street. The plastic looks better. It's not paper thin but this is intended to replace QCP phones not the Q, and should be fairly cheap. Makes me curious about what the other 21 manufacturers are going to come up with..Dave
