PhoneTime was the public company originally (ticker PHTM). Global Access, which was private, merged into PHTM, changed the ticker to GAPI. Now Global Access is "un-merging", or basically spinning off as a private company again, leaving PhoneTime as the public entity. Within a couple of weeks, PhoneTime, whose focus lately has been on internet telephony, will be merging with an internet company. The thinking was to make the public company a more pure internet play by removing the paging business. I don't know all the details yet, that's all I've picked up so far.
