Chris,

During the cc, Murrie mentioned that even though they are putting much emphasis on the distributorship method, "there will also be plenty of end user sales," or words very close to that. Don't you think this area could very well be where our next positive news could come from, separate from new sales contracts originating within the now established distributor agreements?

Chris,

Nice points on NT. One thing to consider when looking at NT is that middleware is typically priced much less on that platform than the Unix environments. So the lower price point must be countered by the potential volume of NT sales. The services that will be sold along with an NT installation are about the same.

It is realistic to assume that NT's explosion will affect the growth of middleware. The question will be timing and performance. Pound for pound, NT does not match UNIX in either administrative or performance capacity. This will change over the next 12-18 months though. NT will eventually be on par with Unix.

Another point to consider is the concerted effort on the part of the ERP vendors to integrate NT into their solutions. Another opportunity to sell middleware into an NT, middle tier shop.
