Pezz--I am a die hard fly fisherman.
Simply the way I like to fish. You should try New Zealand for trout. Took a 10 pound rainbow and 9 1/4 brown there, they were trophy fish by New Zealand standards too. Many of the lakes averaged 3 1/2 to 4 pound fish. Some of the trophy waters averages 6 1/2. The R factor trout that are in the Rotorua Lake area are over 7 now.
