Pete, interesting arguments. i will study after i get a new cartridge for my printer. I have no idea what the estimated worth of real estate in the USA is. One problem I have with his point about the real estate bubble being bigger that the stock market is the magnitude of overvaluation rather than the absolute size of the respective markets. Residential RE serves as housing as well as an investment. Rental property generates a stream of income ( rent) that gives a better return than the current dividend yield. When prices fall and stay down long enough people will sell their stocks but they are less likely to sell their primary residence or stop paying the landlord unless they don't mind a park bench. I expect decline in the stock market before real estate gets hit. Although the luxury home mkt should feel it rather quickly. Later Mike
