<How did you get your logon Zuma...>

I think it's because he plans to "zooma" all the way to the bank with CF!

Ahhh, you ask good question, grasshopper -- your memory serves you well...

First, regrettably, I am *still* in password hell. I DID fix another mysterious problem, though, that I will share with the thread (even though I am in deep despair that no one has yet stepped up to help me with my logon script problem).

You whiz kids out there probably already know this, but you can speed up your logon to your ISP tremendously by unchecking everything OTHER than "Enable Software Compression" and "TCP/IP Protocol" on the "Server Types" tab under dial-up networking properties (don't try this if you've got a cable modem, T1 or some such non-modem method). Worked wonders for me, even if I still have to type in the world's most arcane, convoluted mix of random letters and numbers each time I login (sigh...).

As far as "Zuma" goes, RGluck's guess (MonteZuma Tequila) is far better than reality, now that I think of it...

The 30-somethings out there probably remember the eclectic grandad of grunge, folk, metal, techno, "unplugged", electric, and even swing -- Neil Young. "Zuma" was one of his early, early records (ok -- CD), which I'm pretty sure was named after a beach in California.

Alright already, so it's a bit convoluted -- whadya' expect, the secret launch code for ICBM missles...? <g>

RK (those are my initials, ok?) <g>

Anyway -- it's been a good day! I'll take an intraday high of 41 any time (that's gonna look good on the end-of-month Schwab statement, yessir...)
