In response to private inquiries, GE
bought out a tungsten mine in Central
Europe several years ago. GE had major
research into the transmutation of cheap
plentiful carbon into diamond, and the
transmutation of cheap rare tungsten
into gold. Hence Ikar's tungsten deposit
in Tajikistan might be worth it's weight
in gold!, if the right nuclear process
transmutes it economically some day.
