REH,

I don't think you're the "only" RMBS bull here at all. I just think we have to be realistic about the impact of the the flat earnings warning. It will have a lingering effect and it won't be positive short term. The upward momentum has been broken and it's back in "trading mode". Now how long that will last, is anyone's guess.

Weak close, never traded over 80 for the last 2 hours - disappointing - looks like more weakness ahead, more longs have to get flushed out.

REH,

With the press releases of late, I can't imagine anything terrible coming out of tomorrow's shareholders' meeting---although I'm trying to think of something.

Comments by Samsung that they plan "to launch mass production of Rambus DRAMs starting from the end of January" and that "the ratio of Rambus DRAMs in the domestic DRAM market will reach 30 percent this year" are weighing heavy on my decision-making. If true, one doesn't get to 30 percent of the market in a few months. Rambus's crescendo has to begin soon.

In my view, all it will take is somebody from management, the financial press, or the analyst community to merely describe what is happening.

And, I have to admit painfully to everybody that I haven't sold a share.

ISI, founded in 1998, licenses semiconductor intellectual property to
semiconductor manufacturers. The company's technology is incorporated
in semiconductors used in electronic devices to improve bandwidth
efficiency, resulting in higher performance, lower power consumption,
lower "noise," and lower system and component costs. Austin Ventures
and Rambus Inc. (Nasdaq:RMBS) participated in the company's first round
of financing, completed in June 1998. The company can be reached by
