Bear Sterns has been heavily invested in Pfizer and has been one of the biggest Pfizer bulls. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a link between Pfizer $$ and Bear Sterns manipulation of Vivus stock. This has been suggested to me in the past by many Vivus stock holders. It certainly wouldn't surprise me. Big Pfizer $$ covertly crushes the competition by having one of their financial henchmen do their dirty work.
