It was, among others, Joy Covey who said during the cc that they were cashflow positive
for the Dec.98 quarter. Or did I not hear her correctly?


Randy,

She made that statement. She also stated in prior quarters Amazon would be profitable without advertising. He statement of cash flow positive is true if one ignores the fact that the accounts payable were do within 30 days. The statement is not accurate under GAAP.
