My e-mail does not go through my PC, Byron. My e-mail account is on an IBM mainframe, which I access via TN3270 (on my PC). I was under the impression that e-mail via the mainframe was a _lot_ safer then e-mail directly through a PC.

Your emails are NOT encrypted. Your PC probably use IP6 or earlier, it's probably using the SMTP protocol to send mails. Again, this is not safe, your email may be routed to some gateways on the internet where a hacker is sniffing.

OK..here it is in black and white... It just shows why people have this internet security phobia.. I just don't understand it.. One is only liable for $50.00 of fraudulent charges to a credit card... How many times have your read of credit card theft from Email or the internet?????? very few... Statisticly the $50.00 loss is not worth worrying about... It is just not a problem!!!!!!
