Gentlemen,

Expect to see many more of these higher volume days for our little RR.

The recent resignation of the president is to be commended, although it was long overdue. I now predict a rapid resolution to the problems surrounding the 1997 financials, and success in becoming fully reporting. From that follows the grant money and a fair and prompt settlement with Conrail. The company then goes from being broke, which it currently is, to being flush. That position, then coupled with announcements regarding operational expansion, acquisition of new property or equipment, and negotiations for new clients, will result in a surge of the share price the likes of which we have not seen since July of last year. Which was about the time of my last posting on the subject.

I am sitting on a small mountain of RR shares. Actually, I am camping on it, since I have neither bought nor sold a share in 10 months. The pile is large enough to induce a nose bleed, but at least from this vantage point I can clearly make out the skyline of NY and the Statue of Liberty. I have no plans to sell. I paid my pound of flesh and intend to enjoy a ride UP for a change. Let us all enjoy the ride together. Isn't that what railroads are for?

Best regards,

Subman
