By the way I'm not a 100 years old just because I started investing in 1972, I just started young. I've always used technical analysis along with Fundamental analysis but the various technical methods can get confusing, my initial impression of P&F is very favorable.

Evening Gwolf, The traditional posting here are BSL (bullish support line) and BRL (Bearish resistance line) as I believe these to be the most important ones...but what do I know???

When you are starting it is a little confusing and we all hope you ask any questions that may pop into your head...we all learn from them and they reinforce what is already there!!!

From your post your are a very astute observer of the interactions of world economics...

Please keep asking questions and profering your thoughts, what ever they may be...

Later
