After writedowns they lost .24.

After writedowns they owe the government a whole lot less in taxes .That's why the cash jumped so nicely.Indicative of very saavy bottomline management.In short, they have money to grow with or acquire a high growth company that is cash starved( but has a neat technology).Cohu needs to have an acquisition or somebody is going to go after their cash(understanding they have a poison pill).

Most importantly the acquisition must fit.Nice to see their new board member is from an M&A/finance background. Good things coming to these rich/smart people! IMHO
