Robert, Great Report. Net loss of only 4 cents a share when excluding inventory & goodwill write-offs versus analyst estimates of a 21 cent loss. Of course the reported loss was 24 cents so it will be interesting how the market will view this but I view it positively. Most importantly, the book to bill was 1.16 which was just slightly short of TERs and much better than the typical back-end equipment company and Cohu increased sales from the 3rd quarter by 66%. Excellent news. Finally a minor issue but the dividend was increased which many will view positively. We should start to see earnings estimates improving for Cohu sometime this year since the 4th quarter 1998 will probably be the bottom and if the trend continues up they should certainly do better than the 44 cents analysts are currently estimating. Hopefully we will see a nice move in the stock tomorrow but irrespective Cohu should close the gap with TERs share price over the coming year so we should see some positive share price action soon.
