Satish: Thanks for the comment and info. The way it was presented yesterday by the media was that this reduction in the rate of tax arose from a one time tax saving of 5 cents which skewered the earnings upwards.

What we need to know is why this lower tax rate. For example, was it a one-time cause such as losses arising from the DEC acquisition or carried over from DEC? What will it be next quarter and for the rest of the year? I'm sure the analysts will be asking this question tomorrow.

Kumar seems to have backed off yesterday's analysis and was suggesting that only 2 to 3 cents of the earnings arose from the more favourable tax rate.
