K,

I heard Maria too.

That information unless >5% of company is generally not publically available. A side from being disconcerting it's interesting none the less.

Could be an HUGE earnings player who became finished with CPQ after yesterday's release and is now awaiting DELL's release in about 2 weeks. IF this is the case, Maria did CPQ an injustice ... left all the assumptions in a bad light for CPQ.

Frick & Frack have got to do an excellent job tomorrow because the earnings didn't convince many.

Michael

K..Heard that too, re the swap for Dell. Who can blame him? Dell is back to being twice what CPQ is in share price. This quarter's numbers are cooked, Kelley was right on. In September 1997 this pig closed at $39 7/8. Over the next 17 months it has advanced $7 3/8. There is no way we are ever going to see multiples that are assigned to growth companies with these bumms running things. Looks like the disease Digital had is contagious and CPQ's management has a bad case. Were is Dr. Kervorkian when he is needed, Houston is calling.
