Paul,

I still squirm at your earlier choice of words, but have been following your informative posts. Time to bury the hatchet. Thanks for the olive branch. Hell, I'll go out on a limb and try remotely resembling an intelligent conversation - just for you ;)

0> Possibility of a cancellation of the deal(unforeseen circumstances)

Yep, thats a fact. I saw CIEN very closely and shudder at the outcome. Thankfully I wasn't long, but had been chasing CIEN. (Those were the faithfully-buy-and-hold days of my life, thank God they're behind me).

1> YHOO renegotiates a deal with GCTY.

Possible, but unlikely. I'd say more unlikely than the first scenario. YHOO needs this bad. It lost XCIT eyeballs to what may become a serious competition. It cannot or will not buy LCOS for LCOS adds little value, is too expensive blah blah blah. Contentwise, GCTY has just what YHOO needs to have, which every surviving portal needs to have. No, the renegotiation part is too remote IMO.

Oh yes, bought GCTY @107 +change right after the mkts opened today. Oportunities rarely knock, and if you say - go away, I'm waiting for opportunity, it goes away.

Best to leave the door open IMO.
