Jenna,

I like the coding system much better. Not only would it probably be a royal pain the ** for you to maintain a bulletin board, it would also be tedious for those of us who follow multiple SI threads at once.

With only a few stocks to follow, how hard could it possibly be for members to print out the watch list and coordinate it with SI posts?

Of course, we could provide the key codes to the lurkers after subscribers have a position. hehe

Email = sloppier and more work. The Market Gems website to me is more than just blind picks. Your charts and explanations help me to make an educated decision as to what I would like to trade in.

I really appreciate your work.
I favor the idea of a MG bulletin board.
Many short term traders/subscribers have internet access at work.
Taking a few minutes to read a condensed / focused "thread" at work would be a tremendous benefit.
IMHO

Please re-consider setting up a password protected thread. I logged on to the T-Mex thread this afternoon, and there were more than 400 messages - 80% saying ITEC!!!!!! IMON moving!!! etc.

Then I logged on to Tim Luck's thread, and saw many of the same messages.

If you charge a small entry fee, the hypsters will stay away.

Jenna - Thoughts on USWEB and MENT for the short term. Also, DISK - do you see much movement next week prior to earnings?

Thanks

WSJ 01/28.

The following website:

Message 7543305

has a copy of the today WSJ article on how people made money by
front running.........

If others know WHAT we are going to BUY/SELL then they can use such tactic like PUMP and DUMP ( all they want is a difference of 1/8...)---- that is why we should use the # system. One well known person for this tactic already moves his board into CHATROOM then why should we open ourselves to be victims...
