Re: "Remember the old days 9/12/97"

Oh yes I sure do remember those days. Are we just around the corner? Or will this be another attempt at 29 ... then the slide downward.
Has anyone noticed that the company has not issued any news since the December time frame. Why haven't we seen any more CYMI upgrades based on other semi stocks success? After the public relation fiasco in late 97 I can understand why the executives are tight lipped.

This all makes me very nervous......

TRI-GUY (NoPain/NoGain)
P.S. I am still a long way from breaking even. But getting closer every day.

<< Honestly, I don't know any lucky camper got in at 7. Now the hardest part is when to sell. Everytime I sell a stock (for small profit), it then tripple after 6 months. I did it with SMTC and ASND, ouch! >>

Rick, My strategy is to sell off on the way up, but keep a significant amount. Had 1600 ASND at one point, but now down to 500 which I will hold indefinitely. Averaged down in CYMI to about 17 (gritted my teeth and bought some at 9). Still holding 2/3 of the one time total and will sell some every 8 or 10 points.

I bought this puppy in the $30's before the huge
run to $90+ (pre-split). Then bought it as it went down, with
my last buy at $7 1/8. I got several friends into it on the way
up also, but they did not average down and some are still
in the red. One bought almost at the high of $97, not on
my advice but only because he saw us ripping and roaring
with profits. "Crowd psychology" should have been obvious at that
time, but it's hard to see straight when your not part of the
crowd and everyone in the crowd is making money. What a painful lesson. ouch!

I hope the numbers are good on 2/1.
