Bear trap schmear trap.

LU got slammed after the earnings not because of bad earnings or lack of prospects going forward but due to couple of minor concerns the major one among them I belive was a drop/decrease in North American Sales (I think about 17% or so)the other one I can't recall just now.

...and another thing if the market tanks particularly NASDAQ on any bad news or on account of profit taking and the big run up today I will be buying Dell again at least a minimum 500 shares to a maximum of a 1000 and that is no bull. ( I did sell a couple of shares of MSFT and AOL today just to get ready for that and if they both drop again in the coming days I intend to buy them as well,I still have most of them)

How is that for arrogance?<vbg>

MERILL LYNCH LOOKING AT ONLINE BROKERAGE?

Business Editors

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 29, 1999--The conventional wisdom
is that Merrill Lynch isn't interested in online brokering. But
vice-chairman John Steffens, who runs its 15,000-broker network spent
a week in late January in Silicon Valley with a team of Merrill
staffers. Business Week, quoting a source familiar with the trip,
reports Steffens met with top Silicon Valley chief executives and
venture capitalists. That has given rise to speculation that Merrill
wants to become a player in the booming Internet financial services
area. Merrill declined to comment.
