Right on, marc:

Same government that now wants to use your tax money surplus to buy into US corporations rather than refund it to you. Imagine the fun we will face when they own 20% of the S&P index ... who will get which contracts? ... what accounting policies will companies follow? ... when a stock goes up 50%, how much will the political scum divert to new spending and how much will they leave in place to pay your social security?

Scares the hell out of me.

I'd much rather see the money rebated with the requirement that we deposit said rebates in IRA type accounts invested in mutual funds of our choice, etc..
