Wow, interesting article! Just like I suspected...he really has a tiger by the tail and should be very careful with it. Or it might bite the hand that feeds it. Oh, I'm working too late tonight!

Great article. I'd assume the floodgates will open when the venture investors (who presumably could not sell before Friday) get their shares to sell. My guess would be that they will be ready to go tomorrow so as to not be through the gate after everyone else. Somehow I think this is going to be like the tramplings at the Who concert. I could be wrong, but I have my money where my mouth is. It would be interesting to know whether the venture capital firm has distributed the shares to the investors or whethr they pan to do some selling themseves to try to maintain some semblance of order. If distributed, I think all hell breaks loose tomorrow.

Thanks for the link, I enjoyed the article. With as many shares as insiders have, if they can sell for $100 or better, they still do very well; that would make Omidyar worth only $1 billion instead of $3 billion. I know some people who have dealt with Benchmark Capital, and from what they've told me I'd expect Benchmark to be selling big time.

Maybe $250 on Friday, $200 early next week, then the panic sets in and $100 before the end of February? Of course the market makers will ensure and orderly market.
