Jock,

Gresham is an important point to remember. If everything went as we were last informed. Only December expenses for Gresham were included in the quarter. 1 month out of 3 possible.

We have 3 full months of Gresham to look forward to in this coming quarter.

My vie of the future is much better than most of the posts here - HUGE sales increase (don't forget they even shut down Q end shipment early), Gresham start up seems to be going OK, head count going down 17%, old fab being shut down, LSI will do fine.

By the way, they'll be needing Gresham pronto at the rate they are growing. Remember Corrigan saying there's no such thing as sales growth in mid-teens - either less than 10% or over 20%? If we are seeing the latter starting now ....

Can't wait to find out what they are saying in the cc.

Either way, just hang in there for the ride. I think it's just a matter of how good it is - totally wild or just OK.

patrick

Jock, good point...that has been the problem up to here. But the costs, at Gresham for example, are a problem only until capacity utilization reaches a "reasonable" level. After that, margins--and profits--start soaring.. At least, we can hope that's true <g>
