I think these reports are from & to the 15th of each month. It is always that way, I believe. So it is like one or two weeks out of date each time it comes out.

Short interest is from the 15th of Jan. The MMs have a better idea what current interest is. Remember, a bunch of the short interest is hedging of written puts.
