APCC and DELL

APCC, that my friend, is a patterned fund buy - 10k to 20k share purchases spaced far enough apart not to spur significant trader action, and from the looks of it, probably selling 5k shares near the end to . Congratulations. If you plan on entering, time your buy accordingly - give it 45-75 minutes after the volume spikes. My guess would be a smaller hedge fund. Might even make some decent trading opportunities.

DELL - yes Al, I noticed it, and it had one heck of a run today. It was a great pick. And yes, it might go to 100, and probably tomorrow. But unless it gaps on some news and rockets up on twice today's volume, it will have a selloff of about 12-15% as well. Although the 20 millin share volume isn't even interesting for DELL, the price to volume rise is too steep to sustain the climb without something else.

And as for this thread, its really not a trader's site, as the introductory paragraph explains. Its intended more to share and educate. I know we do a bit of posting about our intraday plays here, and the 1500 or so lurkers tolerate that for the most part, but in doing so we generally indicate our reasoning - like Jays posting of Gap plays, Sue posting of previous price movements, various infromational posts, etc.

Wonderful chart, Tob. The sort of chart that freezes me into indecision. Obviously it's going to blast off. Obviously it's hitting resistance. Obviously I don't know what to do.
