Anybody else watch the CBC Business News this evening? They had an analyst from Calgary (I think) who was giving his opinion about internet stocks to invest in. As has become the standard now (I think there's really only one analyst mind and several of them share it. And, it would be overworked if there was only one guy using it.) this gentleman said that the stocks to invest in were the equipment & internet support suppliers. He mentioned AXIA (symbol?) on the TSE, ENTU on the nasdaq, and SSX on the TSE. He was specifically asked about Bid.com His response was a classic. He said, he hadn't researched Bid.com but he would definitely advise investors to stay away from it. Way to speculative, etc. What an a-hole. He hasn't really researched it but he's got an opinion he'd like to share with the CBC viewers. Doesn't lend much credibility to what he had to say about anything. If you could line up all the bitter un-informed analysts in this world head to toe - leave them like that. Just my less than HO. Cush

There are now six confirmed party hounds. Me and . . . Denise votes for New York GJP wants anywhere warm other than Alberta Sili will go anywhere Denise wants to Jerry B wants to ride a boat to New York (to the best steak house in the world - it's probably his own restaurant. Just Kidding.) Tiger USA wants to go to NY as well - He only lives in NJ. (Boy you two Mericans sure don't travel much do you.) Back to business for a minute, everyone should be diligent over the next while because I think that when people start to smell how close this company is to getting listed we will see many more mind games being played in the news and on this thread. People who want to load up on more shares will be trying to drive the stock down. They will be saying things like their margins are too thin, On-line auctions have a lot of competition, etc. When this happens, remember the diversified model that Bid.com is working on and the licensing and cable content deals they have just announced. We will see many more so called analysts with a microphone shoved in their faces being asked their opinions on this stock. If they have not been keeping up with the story, (and many haven't) or have not actually talked to the management of the company (and from what I can tell, none have) they will be working from old news. Anyone who follows the releases and thinks their business plan through will see where this company is going. If I sold now, I would walk away with a very nice return on my investment. But that ain't going to happen. I believe in this company and I'm in for the long haul. Besides, I would hate to miss this party!
