I think Judge Jackson is going to look for a way out
of this thing just like the Republicans in the Senate
are trying.
I bet if he rules against MSFT, he will want to keep it
simple. He knows that he could be embarrassed by the
Appeals court and probably won't come down too harsh
on MSFT. The worst thing for a judge is to have his
rulings overturned. It is a pride thing. Besides
Netscape can distribute the browser, Real Networks,
and Intel are not forced into doing anything they
don't want to. So what is to be achieved?
