It happens all the time in Alberta....at least that is my experience. Alberta has a very rudimentary computer system they cannot even guarantee appropriate matching of orders on the pre-open. I bought today 3 times on Alberta, from the time the trader hit enter until it appeared in market depth was about 2 minutes. That was slow but it genrally averages between 1&2 minutes...for me...anyway!

>>>BIT: Today, when I went to change my STOP (about 10 cents under the price) to a sell order at $2.44, it took more than 3 minutes to show up in the depth. I think this was a Greenline problem.<<<

Greenline, if you are using Webbroker, is a piece of S--t. I'm hanging on till next version, if it's not fixed, I'll take a vacation and have them transfer to another house.

For now, I phone them and ask for Webroker discount. Usually get it too. My trades on ASE over the phone have been pretty much instant, I see them on real-time when still on the phone.
