My point is when people here comment about what they think the market will do at a certain time.. Those with their hands on the throttle are listening, so it can be almost counter-productive.

Al:

Thanks for pointing that out. BTW, I'm long Rambus & have been for
about 6 weeks.

IMO, people give market makers FAR too much credit to manipulate the market. They react to trading, they do not initialize action.
Sure the company wants to see what owners (after all, us longs ARE owners!), of the company are saying. The S.E.C. monitors posts as well, looking for hype, touts & scams. Both S.I. & Motley fool were mentioned by an high ranking S.E.C. official at a conference on the internet I attended last week. The S.E.C. is more interested in microcap (e.g. penny stock) manipulation, than a high priced, high
market cap stock like RMBS. IMO, they are justified in scrutinizing people touting those type of stocks.

I bought RMBS because of the wide number & names of companies adopting
their technology. The analyst' reviews I read on First Call had
a common theme....the next few quarters earnings are irrelevant to
the potential of the company. They are still ramping up. The fundamentals of the company & its technology are still intact. The
current price may be a bummer for day traders or those margined to the hilt. I get the impression you, like myself, bought this company as an investment. IMO, we will eventually be rewarded.

Best Regards,

Doug
