Hey Dennis!

Remember John Belushi in Animal House?

That's me, snooping around on the front steps, at night, with my black ski cap on, jumping back and forth like a 'real' spy, at NBase..

Let's go inside, and see what is in Dean Witter's, I mean Shlomo's office... What I see beaming out of his office doors, around the edges, is this blueish-green, and infra-red wavering and mesmerizing type of light streaks. If I didn't know better, I'd say the whole place was radio active and about to blow!

(Now the music starts playing with Bing Crosby singing a popular Christmas tune:)

The stock is still in shambles,
The company's a gamble
The products still all look good...
Let it blow, let it blow, let it blow!

I still want back my money
That they spent on their 'Honey'
Even with a "Best of Show"
Let it blow, let it blow, let it blow!

(step in here anytime Sector... we know you like to write songs...)

just Jack

Dennis, Feb 15 is President's Day. I'm not sure
but I would think the market is closed on the 15th.

Dennis,
If you owned Cisco,up 5 7/16, Dell, up 5 11/16,AOL up 9, Sun Micro., up 3 7/8, and the rest of the usual high tech suspects, you'd understand. This is a very narrow market. These few big cap highly liquid stocks are moving the averages. Look at the advance/decline ratio yesterday. (You probably know all this.) The market is looking scary. I see a pull back coming on the slightest bad news.

Fortunately for me, the mechanical strategies I use have me in the above stocks though not in MSFT, up 5 3/8 or INTC, up 4 7/16. The scary thing is they have run up so much that they can drop like a rock at any time. Look at Nokia, another stock in my mechanical portfolio. It is down big in pre-market trading.

Good luck,

Bob
