It's a hard lesson to learn. I first learned it back in the biotech boom days right after AMGN first hit it big. Many other biotech stocks were flying on news as flimsy as in vitro testing. I bought some shares in some less than memorable biotechs on this kind of news and soon found out my run was over. Watching the drop is painful.

The internet area has shown some real legs but we will still see pullbacks and buying opportunities. Eventually it will all sort itself out and very few of these stocks will be the huge winners they appear to be today.

It's important to find a market leader with a solid business plan in it's area of the market if you are going to have a stock that you want to hold long term and buy on dips. I think RDIM can be that kind of company and stock.
