Elmer's comments about ALPHA systems are still very appropriate. Do us a favor - check out Compaq's Web Site and report back what 21264 Alpha Server SYSTEMS are selling for. Paul

I remember very clearly having that discussion with him." I posted an article which quoted $55,000 (or thereabouts) for a 21264 upgrade motherboard. I stated that if this was the cost of a 21264 it wouldn't do very well. Can someone show us a link to where these Samsung claims of $250 can be verified? Is this a 21264 or a 21164? EP
